To prevent massive amounts of SPAM from appearing on the forums, the FreeNAS Forums use the Stop Forum Spam plugin. The admins also regularly prune SPAM accounts.

If you have an account and are no longer able to post, it is possible that a recent prune or filter has affected your account. If this happens to you, send a message to the forum administrator. This message must contain the email address you are trying to post/register as and your public IP address (you can find this using whatsmyip.org). This information is needed to determine which anti-spam measure is preventing your access.

If you are a new user and are unable to register, check to see if your IP is blacklisted at http://stopforumspam.com/removal. If it is, you must request that your IP address be removed from Stop Forum Spam using their removal request form. If your IP is not listed, do not complain to Stop Forum Spam. Instead, try selecting another username.
