Adding Perforce to Freenas

Hello all,

I'm currently setting up the latest perforce server on my freenas, all is well, and I'd like to post a how-to, however, I need to sort out one remaining issue.

For some reason some of the calls to the server take way too much time. I looked into this problem for two days already and didn't find anything yet. I posted the problem in detail on the perforce forum (http://forums.perforce.com/index.php...4d-on-freenas/) but that didn't yield any results either.

So I thought maybe someone on the forum here has an idea what I can try to fix this?

Ok, let me crawl under some rock now...

Found the cause: I didn't specify the default gateway on the freenas. That was it. Only that.

Glad I found it, astonished that I did not think of this earlier.
