System Crash: Help! FN 8.0.4

I tried to restart system when a file name "locked." When system would not close I forced a shut down with power key. I then could not reboot - I initially get the FN boot messages then it stops saying that I am trying to boot a data disk. I suspect a corrupt USB key.

I then tried to boot from a FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE-p1-x64 CD to reinstall but am stuck in the boot process with repeating messages about warning, data was not properly dismounted. This has been happening for several minutes. [image attached]

What do I do?

I shut down (soft) after twenty minutes. I swapped out the USB drive and now I get a different message. [photo]
